Fundamentals of Unsupervised Machine Learning- Hidden Markov Models

Our speaker will be Saidurga Subramanian

Saidurga will be covering the basics of Hidden Markov Models with some details on the algorithms along with its real-world application. Also will provide some information on tookits for building and training models.

Saidurga is a software engineer at Liazon. She graduated from San Diego State with research experience in Machine learning & Signal Processing and began her career at Qualcomm. With a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, she loves working on embedded systems and machine learning hobby projects.

We’ll meet on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the University at Buffalo Davis 113A. We’ll have light refreshments and some limited swag.

Davis Hall is on White Rd, not far from the Bookstore. The Jarvis B lot is just across the road. No parking permit is required after 3PM.

The floor will be open from 7:00 to 7:15 PM for anyone that would like to give a lightning talk.
